unlimited online backup

The definition of backup in computer terms: To recover data after loss, be it caused by, malware or deletion. Loss of data is the most common complaint of many computer users. Over 50% of computer users have experienced data loss of one kind or another however for some reason data backup is for the most part not a priority, at least not until disaster strikes.
Online data companies of which there are many have differing service levels depending on the level of security required and of course budgetary requirements.
An online backup company provides the end-user with an online facility that manages, backs up and stores their data. Online backup networks typically work around the client's software backing up files and data mostly a night during periods when the computer may not be in use. The online backup programme which is initially downloaded to the customer's computer will compress, encrypt and move the data to the backup companies off site server or hardware off site.
During my lengthy career at a large Telecom company which happens to be the main Telecom company in the UK, data protection was always our number 1 priority including the categories below.
· Data Backup
· Data Retention
· Data Protection
· Data Storage
· Data Security
All the above should be a priority for any computer- internet user.
A backup system should be able to process at least one copy of all data that the user wishes to keep, now that's a lot of data and that's the beauty of an online computer backup system as opposed to an offline backup system.
Losing treasured pictures, images, files, documents, the kids' homework or pretty much anything of value would be extremely stressful and even on the odd occasion emotional. All it would take to cause all this stress and emotion would be a failure of your hard drive and it does happen, often in fact.
Back in the day, most people would keep their information records, their photographs, spread sheets and such like in a paper format and tidied away in a desk drawer. However today's computer savvy individuals most probably keep all these resources on their computer. Now here lies the problem, what if the computer fails or you accidentally delete your data or worse still, the hard drive fails. Whilst you may be able to retrieve some of the data, some loss may still occur. And then there's the cost.
